I have a pioneer elite 1140 and I need to know what USB wifi device can I get for it so I can get on my network wirelessly other than through a LAN cord. Is the wifi built in?

They aren’t just for games and game systems. They work well as stand alone devices. But remember you do need a wireless router of some sort as well. Otherwise you can use a power line adapter such as this one:
