It sounds to me like your screen saver is set to lock the machine whenever it activates. All you would need to do is change the screen saver setting so that it no longer locks the computer. Click “Read More” for step by step instructions on how to do that.
1. Right click (click the right button on your mouse) anywhere on the desktop.
2. Select the Properties menu item.
3. When the “Display Properties” window opens, click on the “Screen Saver” tab.
4. Uncheck the box labeled “On resume, password protect”
5. Click OK, and you should be set, no more annoying password when the screen saver activates.
