Fix Your Desktop

I recently bought an hp pavillion dv6000 laptop computer and i'm having trouble accessing the internet. I hooked up my ethernet cord from my cable modem and it would not access it. then on my girlfriends wireless network it would access the network for maybe 10 mins then kick out or when i'd change a page it would kick out. and another computer running wireless was right next to it. should i just take it back to bestbuy and have them look at it or what should i do?

ANSWER: Sounds to me like your laptop is broken or has some sort of software malfunction. I would definitely take it into BestBuy and have them look at it. If it's still under warranty you should have no problems.
