also every time i try 2 uninstall "Apple Mobile Device Support" it also shuts down. i have uninstalled everything that itunes installs in the computer but that certain software becouse it shuts down before it finishes... i do not want to lose my library becouse it has over 1496 songs and 439 of them are Bone Thugs ~N~ Harmony n some that are really rare to come across so can any1 help me please im really dessperate right now i had i ipod stolen so theres no way of me storing the songs

ANSWER: First off, I'd make a back up of your music. Get an external hard drive: http://tinyurl.com/67o6w7 and copy all your music (probably in the "My Music" folder).

Then I'd uninstall itunes. Reboot. Re-Install itunes and reboot again. This should do the trick.
