How can I tell if my computer has……?

2 processors and does it have "hyperthreading"? And what is the difference between Dual processors and Duo Core?

ANSWER: Right click on your "My Computer" icon, and select "Properties". There you will see your general system information. You'll see (at the bottom right) the processor(s) and CPU speed etc. It will explain what you have. As far as Dual processors (in simple terms) versus Dual core, the difference is: Dual processors are actually 2 processors (computer chips). Whereas the cor2 duo or dual core processors are 1 chip with 2 processors built into the chip. For various reasons having 2 processors is preferable (speed wise) to 2 cores. But either way they're better than 1 processor.
