Fix Your Desktop

I have a Windows Vista computer. Something happened to it the other day where the whole computer just crapped out. We had to reset it, and had to redownload everything. So basically I lost my entire Itunes completely. And lucky me I had to return my broken ipod this week, and now have a brand new refurbished Ipod Touch with nothing on it that I can't use. I try installing Itunes from the Apple site, but it gets up to a certain point on the loading bar, then just stalls at a certain point saying "Status". Am I doing something wrong? Or do you think it's because my computer crapped out this week?

ANSWER: It's probably your computer. But then again, it might be your browser. Try using FireFox to download it, or even Safari.
