		<description>If it is the same model, then yes.
If it is a different model, then you can still install Windows using the recovery disk but chances are you may have some missing drivers that will cause things to not function correctly. If your daughter&#039;s computer is already not in a working state and you are out of warranty then it is not a bad idea to give it a shot anyway. You should be able to find those missing drivers afterwards.</description>

		<description>as long as the model numbers are exactly the same and all the parts inside are exactly the same.  but unfortunately i highly doubt that...  
technically you can, but it will cause alot of problems!
go to http://support.hp.com first and download all the correct drivers for her model first!  download them to a flash drive.
once you finish installing windows again on her pc install all the correct drivers! 
when you are done make sure everything is ok.  go to start and right click on my computer and go to manage.  click device manager and make sure there are no X&#039;s or ! or anything indicating an error.
