How Do I Fix My Computer Screen? Everything Got Pushed Up And It Makes The Viewing Very Difficult.?
Categories: hardware
Written By: admin
We watched a video on our computer yesterday, and made it full screen. When we set it back, somehow it changed our computer screen. Now the top 1/2 inch is on the bottom, and everything is pushed up. In between what is normally the bottom of the screen and that top half there is a black space. How do I fix this? This is my moms computer (e-machine) and I don’t want to be responsible for breaking it! I already turned if off and back on and its still like this. Please help!

It sounds like the graphics cards scan settings have got changed. Right click the desktop and click Properties, now click settings and Advanced, next click Monitor and try a different Refresh rate. then OK all the way back to the desktop.

Dear Emily,
)
It sounds as if you just need to RESET your mom’s monitor settings to its original factory defaults, and then just use the settings menu to optimize the dimensions of the viewable screen area, if at all necessary.
There are controls on the actual monitor that give you the functionality to fine-tune the wiewable screen picture.
If you need further help, or would like me to walk you through the process; just IM me, and I’ll be glad to help!
I don’t want your mom freaking out on you!
Hugs,
Jessica

It depends on your monitor. You need to look at your monitor at the bottom and there are either a menu button and several others or controls you turn and adj the centering and height adj.
