How Do I Fix My Pc When It Crashed So I Have My Start Menu Back?

My c drive crashed n killed windows but i got my d drive with all my games and stuff on it how do i get all of the stuff i origionaly had like shortcuts to games and all that stuff on my start menu again like how it was before windows crashed because i tried 2 install a expansion for sims 2 but it says its not installed meanwhile i can still play sims 2?

Even though you saved your games on your D drive, the program itself (and your start menu) is on your C drive. You will need to spend some money to get your C drive working again. Take it to a local computer repair shop once you save up about $100. Until then, no sims for you…sorry
