How To Get Rid Of The “preparing To Install” Message In Visual Basic?

Everytime I start Visual basic 98 [sry, bit outdated, dont want to spend money on newer versions] it always gets this “preparing to install” message, but it never installs!! It just keeps saying “preparing to install.” If I press cancel, it crashes! Can anyone help?

If your windows account is “limited”, VB is probably failing to update the files (whatever they are).
You may want to try to temporarily change your account to admin and start VB.
